Shaped by a Lifetime of Experiences
With three grown children who excelled in elite sports and six wonderful grandchildren, I’ve seen firsthand how dedication and proper guidance can lead to remarkable achievements.
My 27-year career as a Police Officer with the Toronto Police Service, alongside my passion for instructing goalies since 1996, has profoundly influenced my approach to goalie development.
These life experiences have enriched my development philosophy and continues to shape the direction of all our programs at TEAM Shutout Goalie School.
The Beginning of TEAM Shutout
When I established TEAM Shutout Goalie School in 2006, I envisioned more than just on-ice drills and sessions. I wanted to create a well-rounded development program that emphasized learning resources and purposeful practice.
My goal was to equip goalies with the tools they need to practice smarter, improve awareness, and maximize their potential on the ice.
Introducing the Goalie Toolbox
This vision inspired our coaching staff to develop the ‘Goalie Toolbox,’ an innovative online membership platform packed with educational videos.
The Goalie Toolbox offers goalies the flexibility to schedule their learning anytime, anywhere, and on any device. This accessibility allows goalies to prepare effectively for their on-ice sessions with:
- Their goalie coach
- Team practices
- Post-game performance assessments
The Goalie Toolbox ensures that every goalie can approach their training with knowledge and confidence, helping them elevate their game to the next level.
